A Sad Day...

Yesterday was a sad day. We lost our fluffy friend of almost 18 years. Yellow was a great cat. His favorite hobbies were eating, sleeping in boxes (the smaller the better), sitting on sewing projects, and lounging in the sunshine. During the summer you could always count on him to "hold down" the front step. I think he liked it there because the granite rock stayed warm even after the sun went down. You could always tell when the radiant heat was working because he would be laying on the hot spot in the corner of the kitchen. And when is wasn't he would be under the wood stove, carefully toasting one side at a time. He always took good care of his cap nip plants making sure they were pruned an a daily basis.

He lived a good long life and will be missed. R.I.P my fuzzy friend. :(

A shoebox by the wood stove = a very happy kitty!
"Does this bow make my head look fat?"
"Don't you worry about the step moving, I got it!"

Enjoying an afternoon snooze in the sunshine next to his cat nip plant
